To our All-Options Community –
We hope you and yours are taking care of each other in these uncertain times. Today, we have an important update about All-Options and our path forward.
Earlier this year, we shared that All-Options was at a critical crossroads, facing a real possibility of closing by mid-2025. Amidst a turbulent state and national landscape, we promised to navigate the challenges ahead with grace, respect, courage, and care for the people we serve as well as the staff who have been so dedicated to our work.
Today, we are proud to announce: We’re not closing!
Thank you for helping to make this possible! We’re deeply honored and humbled by the outpouring of support from our community during this time of transition. Your donations and words of encouragement reflected the value and necessity of our programs, and fueled our fundraising efforts. We received a critical infusion of funding, including new, multi-year institutional grants, which have strengthened our footing and helped us avoid closure for now. However, we’ll need to secure additional resources to keep All-Options open long-term.
And while this news is exciting, it’s also bittersweet because over the last 6 months, we had to make some hard choices to streamline our operations and strategically refocus our organization. In March we rehomed our Hoosier Diaper Program (HDP) and Period Equity Program (PEP), ensuring that our clients continue to access the resources they need and deserve. After a decade of service to the Bloomington, Indiana community, we closed the physical location of our All-Options Pregnancy Resource Center in May. In July, we’ll be starting our fiscal year with fewer staff and more volunteers to steward our All-Options Talkline, Faith Aloud Spiritual Care Line, Hoosier Abortion Fund, and trainings.
Undoubtedly, this has been a transformative period for All-Options. With Taja Lindley’s leadership as Interim Executive Director, we’ve been able to successfully move through this challenging chapter in our organization’s history. So it is with great enthusiasm that we make another exciting announcement:
Taja Lindley has been named the new Executive Director of All-Options!
Taja is a dedicated, fearless, and compassionate leader and advocate. We have been deeply impressed by and are grateful for her leadership as Interim Executive Director, diligently and strategically stewarding our organization through this period of crisis. The Board has complete faith and confidence in her ability to lead All-Options from recovery to resilience with care, vision, and expertise. We’re excited for the rebirth of All-Options with Taja at the helm.
In the weeks and months ahead, Taja will share updates about our programs and plans for the future, and how you can join us as we continue to fundraise for our mission critical work in Indiana and nationwide. She will also share highlights about the impact of the All-Options Pregnancy Resource Center and the accompanying programs we responsibly rehomed. In the meantime, you can read our updated FAQ to learn more about the changes at All-Options.
Finally, please note that we will be closed from Monday June 30th through Friday July 4th as our staff takes a much-needed break to rest and rejuvenate for the work ahead. However, our Talkline and Faith Aloud Spiritual Care Line will remain open during this time.
Your support has always been the foundation of our work, and through every challenge, you have uplifted All-Options and the people who have relied on us. We appreciate any and all contributions that you have to offer as we continue this important work under Taja’s leadership. Thank you for your support and care.
With gratitude,
Ellie Austin (co-chair) and Shruti Rana (co-chair)
