Q: What are you most excited about in joining the team at All-Options?
A: I’m excited to be working for an organization whose mission and values I admire so much. When I was working at Houston Women’s Clinic, I would refer patients who needed extra support to the All-Options Talkline every day. There are few places that truly support the full-spectrum of pregnancy experiences, and All-Options is one of them.
Q: What are you most hoping to provide and bring to your new position?
A: One of All-Options’s core values is Authentic Engagement, and I hope bring even more of that into our interactions with supporters and in our fundraising efforts. I’m hoping to bring a fresh perspective to All-Options’s social media approach and help create new opportunities for our followers to engage with us and our work online.
Q: What are some hobbies you enjoy?
A: I love all things dance and music. I grew up taking ballet and modern lessons, but I’m branching out and trying some new things, like pole! Also, skincare. I’ve fallen into the Korean-bajillion-step-skincare-routine hole and haven’t come out since. If you need product recommendations, I’m your girl.
Q: What famous person would you want to play you in a movie about your life?
A: Sandra Oh, hands down. She was representing Asian women on-screen when AAPI representation was hardly on anyone’s radar. Her characters are always badass, complex people, and I hope my life lives up to that reputation.
