Evelyn Smith, State Programs Manager
Evelyn joined the All-Options team as Program Associate for All-Options Pregnancy Resource Center in August 2019. She is a fat trans lesbian and a survivor of sexual violence, as well as a long-time community activist and organizer for feminist and LGBTQ+ causes. Her work seeks to address the social and structural factors that expose mutiply-marginalized people, particularly women, queer and trans people, people with disabilities, and people of color, to violence of all kinds. Evelyn’s most recent projects have centered prevention of and intervention in domestic violence and sexual violence against housing insecure and homeless people. Evelyn has Bachelor’s degrees in biology and gender studies (with a focus on feminist history and transfeminist theory) from Indiana University. Outside of her professional life, she mostly does the exact same kind of work for free as a volunteer, and enjoys spending time with her 14 housemates at her co-op. Evelyn uses she or they pronouns.
